* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of central Nebraska, including the following
counties, Howard and Sherman.
* WHEN...Until 700 PM CDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Rises in creeks and streams.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 602 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is
ongoing or expected to occur today in the advisory area.
Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen over the past 12
hours on already saturated soils.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Dry Creek, Rock Creek, Cow Creek, Deer Creek, Turkey Creek,
Auger Creek, Munson Creek, Moffet Creek, Middle Loup River,
Beaver Creek, Cedar Creek, Oak Creek, Spring Creek and Cady
Creek.
Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected.
